Each month we are going to bring you closer to the people that make up the Allen Goldstein Team.
This month we are focusing on Gemma Williams, who is our Office Manager.
How did you get into the property Industry?
I graduated university with a photography degree and was working as a property photographer for around a year. I then decided I wanted a more admin based job role and as I had picked up some knowledge on property through my photography job, and I was looking for jobs in the property industry.
Briefly describe your career path which led to your current position?
I started off as a Lettings Administrator and have worked my way up in the company gaining property management experience and now I am office manager.
What advice would you give landlords / Tenants?
Look for a quality agent who can tailor to your needs. I would advise tenants to always view the property in person (when possible), if this is not possible ask lots of questions.
How would you describe your current role and responsibilities?
I oversee all back office tasks including property management. I also oversee the staff in the office to ensure everything is running smoothly and we are providing a good service to our tenants and landlords.
What do you enjoy about your role at Allen Goldstein?
I enjoy meeting new people and I love that everyday is different with new challenges and problem solving.
What challenges do you see facing your industry?
At present we have seen challenges due to Covid-19, this has had an affect on the property market as a whole but our aim is to stand out, be different to other agents and continue to provide that 5 star service to all our clients.
What is one thing within the property industry that your clients have to deal with that you want to fix?
Take away the stress from landlords of dealing with their properties and make sure they are up to date on legislations and requirements to ensure safety and security of our tenants.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with family and friends. I love going to watch lives bands.
